Study 1 - Government Procurement Card (GPC)
The Government Procurement Card (GPC), is a purchasing card used increasingly by public sector organisations to buy high volume, low value goods and services in a cost and process efficient way.
Previously this process was predominantly manual and e-mail/paper based. This system enables the buyer to take advantage of discounts available, and achieves huges savings on processing invoices and monitoring company expenditure.
SAP provides a Procurement Card solution as part of its SRM (EBP) product which is specifically designed to support the reconciliation, approval and financial management of procurement cards. 
However, to fully support the GPC process some enhancement and subsequent development of the standard SAP process was required....
